Ocean Practices: OBPS Workshop VII was held online from 9 to 13 October 2023 and followed by a week of focus sessions on dedicated topics.

The workshop aimed to provide shared solutions to the 10 selected challenges set by the UN Ocean Decade for collective impact.

It was divided into two sessions per day, covering an introductory session including a Panel of distinguished speakers. Sessions addressed the Challenges listed, with plenty of time for discussion and Q & A.

Subsequent focus sessions included:

• EarthServer: Federated Fusion on Analysis-Ready Datacubes [Paul Bauman]
• Best Practices on Storytelling and the Restoration of Ecosystem: How to effectively engage stakeholders [Jessica Giannoumis]
• Challenges of Using Citizen-Generated Data for Ocean Sustainability and Policy Advancement [Garabet Kazanjian]
• Best Practices for Observing the Air-Sea Transition Zone [Lucia Gutierrez-Loza]
